Welding Engineer

Seeking a recent graduate with 1 to 2 years of hands-on lab experience in welding, preferably in joining, along with testing scanning an optical microscopeRequirementsLaser welding experience.Welding of Internal Weld Coupons for Tab WeldingRestrictive spot weld experienceExperience in Cross-section of samples after weldingMaterial Characterization of WeldsResistance testingResistivity measurementTensile strength measurementAbility to coordinate projects and test data with other internal departments and outside suppliers.Experience with Testing, Scanning and Optical Microscopes is a plusData base experience is a plus.SEM experience is a plus. SEM is used to examine weld quality, fractures, microstructure, inclusions, porosity, and other features at high resolution.Education Requirement:Bachelors Degree required. Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing systems engineering or Material science will be plus.
