At Boldt, Assistant Project Managers within our Self Perform Division play a critical role in driving successful project execution by partnering directly with field leadership and skilled craft professionals. This position offers a unique opportunity to be deeply involved in the construction process, working closely with Superintendents, Project Managers, and self perform crews to coordinate work, remove obstacles, and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and with exceptional quality. You will gain firsthand exposure to the planning and execution of critical work scopes while helping maintain alignment between project objectives, field operations, and customer expectations.As an Assistant Project Manager, you will support the day to day management of self perform operations through coordination of schedules, subcontractors, materials, procurement, cost tracking, production planning, and project documentation. You will help facilitate communication between the office and field, participate in Lean planning efforts through the Boldt Production System, and contribute to problem solving that keeps work progressing on schedule and within budget. This role is ideal for someone looking to build a long term career in construction operations, develop leadership skills, and make an immediate impact on some of the most challenging and rewarding projects in the industry.The anticipated salary range for this position is $107,000.00-$138,000.00 annually. - Four-year engineering or construction management degree. An equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Two to five years of related experience.
- Solid understanding of construction equipment and techniques, drawings, and specifications, building materials and required standards applicable to subject area.
- A valid driver’s license may be required. Individuals in this role may be subject to an annual Motor Vehicle Records check. The outcome of any MVR checks conducted may negatively impact the persons’ ability to participate in any vehicle program provided by the company, including but not limited to the ability to drive a personal vehicle on behalf of The Boldt Company or rent a vehicle through for business travel purposes.
- Experience on healthcare or other highly regulated projects such as OSHPD or HCAI
- Experience supporting self perform construction operations
- Exposure to lean construction practices such as pull planning or takt planning
- Highly organized and effective communicator with strong presentation skills; able to multitask, build relationships, and foster collaboration and consensus
