Machine Operator

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Machine Operator to join their team. As a Machine Operator, you will be part of the production department supporting the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, good energy, and a strong work history, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Machine Operator

Location: Newton, NC

Pay Range: $18-19/hr

Shift: 12-Hour Shifts: Days (7 am-7 pm) & Nights (7 pm-7 am), 3/2/2/3 Work Schedule

What's the Job?

• Operate equipment including winders, saws, core machines, start/stop winders, case packers, palletizers, wrappers, stretch wrappers, tape machines, and printers.
• Monitor and influence product quality, productivity, and minimize equipment downtime.
• Perform changeovers, troubleshoot issues, and make adjustments to ensure optimal equipment performance.
• Safely maintain all production functions of high-speed or low-speed lines.
• Provide guidance to team members and ensure safety protocols are followed during operations.

What's Needed?

• Ability to lift 25 lbs consistently and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
• 1-2 years in a machine operator role
• Ability to think creatively and solve problems efficiently.
• Strong mechanical apptitude 
• Willingness to work overtime on off days when necessary to ensure smooth operations.
• Strong knowledge of Lock out Tag Out procedures
