Mail Sorter

Location: Denver, CO
Pay: $20.25/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM

Position Summary

We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented Mail Sorters to join a fast-paced mail processing operation. This position is responsible for preparing, verifying, and processing outgoing mail while ensuring quality and production standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Prepare outgoing metered mail for processing and distribution.
• Review mail pieces to verify correct dates, postage, and barcode quality.
• Identify, communicate, and assist in correcting mail processing errors.
• Recognize damaged or unreadable barcodes and remove affected mail pieces as needed.
• Monitor mail processing equipment and troubleshoot minor operational issues.
• Clear mail jams and keep production flowing efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Follow all safety, quality, and operational procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Basic understanding of English sufficient to understand and follow safety and operational instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a production-driven environment.
• Dependable and reliable attendance.
• Ability to work overtime as needed, including weekends, holidays, or alternate shifts with little to no advance notice.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to stand, walk, stoop, and bend for up to 80% of the workday with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining accuracy and productivity standards.
