Adesso Therapeutics is a small and growing DME company located in Reno, NV. We focus primarily on compression garments for patients with lymphedema as well as wound care products.

Role Description

This is an entry level, full-time, on-site role for a Medical Biller located in Reno, NV. The Medical Biller will be responsible for day-to-day tasks such as processing and submitting insurance claims, handling denials, and following up on unpaid claims. Responsibilities also include verifying patient insurance coverage, and ensuring compliance with Medicare and other insurance regulations. The Medical Biller will work closely with other administrative staff to ensure an accurate and efficient billing processes.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in billing processes
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Ability to speak English

Preferred

• Knowledge of Medical Terminology and ICD-10 coding
• Experience handling insurance claims, including Medicare
• Proficient in managing denials and follow-up on unpaid claims
• Familiarity with healthcare billing software
• Certification in medical billing
• Ability to speak Spanish
