Senior Interior Designer

The Role in Brief

The Senior Interior Designer will possess the skills to lead the interior design effort through all phases of a project. This position requires the candidates to develop solutions, create project designs, and lead design charrettes. They will also participate in project proposals and interviews. The Senior Interior Designer will be responsible for tasks including programming, small to large-scale space planning, and must possess a thorough working knowledge of interior construction detailing, interior specification coordination, and FF&E specifications. The designer will be responsible for preparing presentations, design drawings, and managing construction drawings as well as coordination of all trades related to interior building design. This position should be a leader that will mentor younger staff and help grow them into leaders in the field.

Qualifications

• 10-15 years’ experience
• Knowledge of Healthcare design industry
• Proficiency of Revit and Adobe suite software
• Excellent graphic presentation skills
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to multitask and self-manage time
• NCIDQ, and LEED accreditation preferred
