Apprentice Field Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Perform lubrication maintenance, oil filtration, and filter changes on rotating equipment
• Collect oil samples and perform lubricant testing
• Operate pumps, filtration equipment, forklifts, and other job-related equipment
• Inspect, clean, troubleshoot, and perform basic maintenance on equipment
• Complete required documentation accurately and on time
• Follow all company and customer safety procedures, including PPE, JHA/JSA, Lockout/Tagout, and work permitting
• Communicate effectively with customers and team members
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record
• Ability to obtain a company-paid TWIC card
• Basic mechanical aptitude; experience with pumps, valves, and hoses is preferred but not required
• Ability to safely operate trucks, trailers, and job-site equipment
• Basic Microsoft Office skills preferred
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Must pass required drug, alcohol, and background screenings
• Ability to travel up to 75% throughout Louisiana, Mississippi, and Texas

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 70 pounds
• Climb and work at heights up to 30 feet
• Stand, walk, bend, and use hand tools throughout the workday
• Work safely in industrial environments with moderate to high noise levels
• Ability to communicate effectively and meet vision requirements necessary to perform the job safely
