Job Description:

We are seeking a full-time, dedicated, and skilled Ophthalmic Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for eye care and a desire to contribute to the well-being of our patients. As an Ophthalmic Technician, you will play a crucial role in assisting our ophthalmologists in diagnosing and treating eye conditions.

Responsibilities:

- Perform preliminary eye examinations, including taking patient histories and performing visual acuity tests.

- Assist ophthalmologists with diagnostic tests and procedures, such as tonometry, visual field testing, and OCT imaging.

- Educate patients on eye care procedures and post-operative care instructions.

- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.

- Sterilize and maintain ophthalmic instruments and equipment.

- Provide support during minor surgical procedures.

- Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure the highest standard of patient care.

- Returning patient phone calls and refill requests.
