Job Description:
OnePlace Home Health is hiring compassionate, dependable, and professional Certified Homemaker-Home Health Aides, also known as CHHAs, throughout New Jersey.
We are looking for caregivers who are passionate about helping clients remain safe, comfortable, and cared for in their homes. This position is ideal for someone who wants flexible hours, competitive pay, steady case opportunities, and room to grow with a supportive home care agency.
We are currently hiring in Burlington County, Mercer County, Camden County, Gloucester County, Somerset County, and Hunterdon County. Additional New Jersey case opportunities may become available as our agency continues to grow.
Responsibilities:
Assist clients with activities of daily living
Provide personal care and hygiene support
Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
Assist with mobility, transfers, and safety supervision as appropriate
Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping
Provide companionship and emotional support
Follow the client’s individualized care plan
Clock in and out accurately for every visit
Document care provided during each shift
Report changes in the client’s condition to the office or supervisory team
Maintain professionalism, compassion, and confidentiality at all times
Requirements:
Active New Jersey CHHA certificate preferred for immediate placement
Must be compassionate, dependable, and professional
Must be able to follow a care plan and communicate clearly
Must complete onboarding and compliance documentation
Must meet New Jersey requirements before placement
Must pass all required background checks
Reliable transportation preferred

Training resources may be available.
Applicants who are not currently certified may be referred to an approved CHHA training program to begin the process of becoming a New Jersey Certified Homemaker-Home Health Aide.
CNAs are encouraged to apply. If you are already a Certified Nursing Assistant and are interested in becoming a New Jersey CHHA, you may be eligible for a CNA-to-CHHA bridge or training pathway through an approved training provider.
Please note: New Jersey CHHA certification must be completed before working as a CHHA in New Jersey.
