Painter/Handyperson

Luxury residential building located in North Bergen, NJ is looking to fill a Painter position. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in residential settings with strong painting and plastering skills.

Job Specific Responsibilities and Duties:

• Planning, preparing and painting apartment units and general common areas
• Experience working with various surfaces, painting supplies and construction materials
• Experience using hand brushes, rollers and various techniques to achieve desired aesthetic look
• Address any safety hazards
• Other duties involving maintenance and handyperson skills as assigned

Basic Responsibilities:

• Respond to incoming calls and in-person requests.
• Comply with company policies, practices and procedures.
• Represent company as a professional in appearance and manner.
• Communicate written and oral communication at the highest level of professionalism and integrity.
• Perform quality and quantity duties as expected for position.
• Complete company required training courses as assigned.

Qualifications:

• a minimum of 3 years professional painting experience
• Ability to prioritize and work in a fast-paced, multi-faceted environment
• Extreme attention to detail and follow up tasks
• Ability to multi-task and be a team player
• Proactive, energetic, efficient
