Warehouse Shipping Associate

Job Summary:

Crown Seating is an industry leader in the design and manufacturing of ergonomically correct dental and medical stools and music engineer seating.  We are seeking an experienced Shipping & Receiving / Warehouse Clerk to oversee Crown’s shipping, receiving and warehouse operations.  www.crownseating.com

Responsibilities:

·         Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against purchase orders or packing slips.

·         Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies and report issues promptly.

·         Prepare and package outgoing shipments according to company standards.

·         Generate and process shipping documents, labels, and tracking information.

·         Load and unload trucks using appropriate equipment when necessary.

·         Organize and store inventory in designated warehouse locations.

·         Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts or physical inventory.

·         Ensure warehouse areas remain clean, organized, and safe.

·         Coordinate with carriers, drivers, and internal departments to ensure timely deliveries.

·         Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous warehouse, shipping, or receiving experience required.
• Basic computer skills for inventory systems and shipping software.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment (forklift experience preferred).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, carry, and move items up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment that may include varying temperatures.

Work Environment

• Warehouse and shipping dock setting.
• May involve working with forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
• Fast-paced environment requiring attention to safety and accuracy.
