Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and hard-working Cashier/Customer Representative to join our team! As a Smoke Shop Cashier/Customer Rep., you will help customers finding what they need, ring up sales, take payments, and issue receipts. You will provide excellent customer service by ensuring all transactions run smoothly. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in Smoke Shop customer service with the specific industry and knowledge of Hemp/Kratom/Electronic products we sell here in store.
Responsibilities
- Greet each customer with a smile and actively assist while they are shopping
- Work the register to ring up sales and complete transactions
- Collect payments by cash and credit card
- Issue receipts and refunds to customers
- Participate in product promotion events and initiatives to drive sales
- Maintain a solid knowledge of product inventory to assist customers with their selections
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years in experience and knowledge in Smoke Shop Industry
- Ability to read, count, write, and communicate clearly and effectively
- Understanding of sales techniques and best practices in customer service
- Willingness to work well in a team environment
- Ability to quickly and accurately work a register
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule
