Automotive Technician

Location: Saco, ME
Pay: $22-$28/hour + Benefits + 401(k) Match

We're hiring an experienced Automotive Technician to join a well-established, fast-paced repair shop in Saco, ME. If you have solid diagnostic skills, enjoy solving mechanical problems, and take pride in quality work, you'll fit right in.

What You'll Do

• Diagnose and repair cars, SUVs, and light trucks
• Repair brakes, suspension, steering, electrical systems, HVAC, and engine performance issues
• Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled services
• Use scan tools and diagnostic equipment to accurately identify problems
• Complete A/C repairs and refrigerant service
• Perform Maine State Safety Inspections (or obtain certification)
• Document repairs and communicate with the service team
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of automotive technician or mechanic experience
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Experience with electrical and mechanical repairs
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• Own basic hand tools
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record
• ASE certifications are a plus
• Maine State Inspection License and EPA 609 Certification are preferred or willingness to obtain
