Production Worker- Yard/Warehouse setting

TruBlu HR Solutions is seeking a Production Worker with minimum 6 months of work experience.  Wil be working with products assisting with blending and coating.  This is a dirty environment with fine graphite and lubricant materials (dusty environment).  Will work in yard and warehouse assisting in different aspects of blending, packaging, and shipping or products.

Work Schedule: M-F (must be able to work later depending on work load)

The AM shift will be from 5:00 AM to 2:00 AM.

Length: temp-hire

Rate:  $19-22/hr   

Job description:

General Expectations

• Follow standard operating procedures & basic instructions
• Understand, follow, and complete work orders and supporting documentation
• Follow company/production standards, policy and procedures
• Work in a dirty environment
• Work independently
• Basic computer skills (ERP system and Microsoft Suite)
• Frequently lift 55 pounds
• Frequent reaching and bending motions
• Product handling (Raw, Intermediate, and Finished Materials)
• Janitorial duties

Equipment Operation

• Operate the use of forklifts and other material handling equipment
• Operate light industrial equipment
• Minor maintenance & problem-solving skills

Quality Control

• Perform quality control tests and checks
• Operate lab equipment
• Follow quality standards, policy, and procedures

Safety Compliance

• Follow safety standards, policy, and procedures
• Properly don and wear personal protective equipment

Teamwork and Communication

• Collaborate with other departments and personnel to meet goals

Additional Expectations (Shipping)

• Load and unload delivery vehicles, including the use of mobile dock plates
• Clean and prepare product for shipment
• Operate stretch system equipment

Additional Expectations (“Ball Mills”)

• Work on elevated platforms
• Climb stairs
• Operate heavy industrial equipment

Work in warm-hot temperatures – Outside temperatures
