CDL A Driver / Field Application Specialist

What This Job Does

This role applies products at customer sites. You will drive a spray truck, follow the job plan, and make sure the work is done safely and correctly. You are the face of the company when you’re out in the field.

Main Duties

1. Drive and Operate the Spray Truck

• Drive a commercial truck safely, sometimes across state lines
• Deliver and apply product at customer locations
• Keep the truck and trailer clean and in good working shape
• Check the truck before and after each trip to make sure everything works

2. Work With Customers

• Be friendly and professional with customers
• Follow the spray plan so the job is done right
• Let your manager and the customer know if anything is running behind

3. Help the Team and Handle Basic Paperwork

• Work well with others, even when things get busy
• Travel as needed to different job sites
• Complete simple paperwork and forms on a company tablet
• Help around the facility when needed (cleaning, inventory, basic upkeep)

4. Follow All Safety Rules

• Always work safely and follow all safety guidelines
• Stop work if something is unsafe and report it right away

What You Need to Be Able to Do

• Lift 50 pounds
• Climb ladders several times a day
• Able to work outside in challenging conditions at times
• Stay motivated and keep a positive attitude
• Able to travel 40-50% of the time. (Usually 1 or 2 nights at a time, max) We put you up in a hotel and pay for your meals.
• Able to communicate with your manager and team members in a consistent and professional tone.

Requirements:

• High school diploma
• CDL Class A
• Tanker endorsement
• 2–5 years CDL driving experience
• Previous experience working in challenging environments.
• The hours can vary, but generally they are between 7a and 5p. May have to work some weekends if needed.
