Ethos Sales is building a brand-new sales team in the Poughkeepsie area, and we're looking for an energetic, people-focused recruiter to help us find the right talent to fuel our growth.

This isn't your typical recruiting job. You won't spend your days scrolling through résumés or sitting behind a computer posting job ads. Instead, you'll be out in the community, building relationships, creating connections, and identifying great people wherever you go. We're looking for someone who naturally starts conversations, enjoys networking, takes initiative, and gets excited about matching the right people with the right opportunity. If you thrive on meeting people, building relationships, and making things happen, you'll fit right in.

What You'll Do

As a Field Recruiter, you'll play a key role in building our team by actively finding and attracting great talent.

Your days may include:

• Networking throughout the Poughkeepsie area, surrounding communities, and beyond—there are no geographical limits as long as you're finding candidates who can work within our assigned sales territories.
• Building relationships with potential candidates in person.
• Attending community events, job fairs, networking opportunities, and other places where great people gather.
• Creating partnerships with local businesses, colleges, gyms, sports clubs, and community organizations.
• Conducting interviews and identifying top talent.
• Guiding candidates through the hiring process.
• Following up with new hires to help ensure a successful start.
• Constantly looking for creative ways to find great people.

This is a role for someone who enjoys being out and about—not sitting behind a desk.

Compensation

This role includes a base salary, but the greatest earning potential comes from your performance.

Your compensation includes:

• Base salary
• Uncapped commission for successful hires
• Performance-based bonuses
• The opportunity to significantly increase your income through your own results

Requirements

• Valid driver's license
• Reliable vehicle
• Willingness to travel throughout the Poughkeepsie area and beyond
• Fluent in English (spoken and written)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable working independently
• Ability to build trust and lasting relationships

What Will Make You Stand Out

• Recruiting or talent acquisition experience
• Sales experience
• Door-to-door, event marketing, or field marketing experience
• Customer service or hospitality background
• Existing network in the Poughkeepsie area or surrounding communities
• Bilingual (Spanish/English)
• Experience interviewing, coaching, or mentoring others
