This role is ideal for someone with strong mechanical aptitude, basic electrical awareness, forklift experience, and the ability to troubleshoot practical issues throughout the facility. The position includes a wide range of responsibilities, including forklift operation, equipment upkeep, light repairs, facility housekeeping, plant and office cleaning, minor plumbing support, conveyor and pallet wrapper support, pallet racking repairs, and assistance with special projects such as trade show display setup and teardown.

This is a hands-on role for someone who is flexible, safety-focused, and comfortable helping wherever needed to keep the facility operating smoothly.

Target Start Date: June 15th, or as soon as possible
Forklift Certification: Required

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate a forklift safely and efficiently to support material movement, production, warehouse, and project needs.
  • Assist with basic maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance throughout the facility.

  • Support maintenance and upkeep of conveyors, pallet wrapping machines, plant equipment, and related facility systems.
  • Assist with inspection, repair, and replacement of damaged pallet racking and other warehouse fixtures.
  • Perform general facility housekeeping, including cleaning offices, production areas, equipment, and plant machinery.
  • Handle light facility repair needs, including minor plumbing issues, basic fixture repairs, and general upkeep.
  • Support production operations as needed to help meet daily business requirements.
  • Assist with special projects, facility improvements, and setup or teardown of trade show displays.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Follow all safety policies, procedures, and company guidelines.
  • Work across departments and respond to changing business needs in a hands-on support capacity.

Qualifications

  • Forklift certification required.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, facility maintenance, or hands-on mechanical role preferred.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and strong diagnostic/problem-solving ability.
  • Basic electrical awareness helpful, especially around powered equipment, conveyors, and plant machinery.
  • Familiarity with forklifts, warehouse equipment, pallet racking, conveyors, or pallet wrapping machines preferred.
  • Ability to use hand tools and perform basic repairs safely.
  • Willingness to perform a wide range of tasks, from equipment support to cleaning and facility upkeep.
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move materials up to [insert weight], as needed.
  • Flexibility to support maintenance, production, warehouse, facility, and special project needs.
  • Must speak English; prefer Bilingual (English/Spanish).

Work Environment

  • Industrial/manufacturing and warehouse setting.
  • Exposure to equipment, machinery, powered industrial trucks, and varying temperatures.
  • Standing, walking, lifting, bending, reaching, and hands-on physical work required.
  • Role may involve both plant-floor and office-area support.

Ideal Candidate
