Accounts Payable Clerk / Accounting Assistant (On-Site La Jolla) 

Location: La Jolla, San Diego, CA (Strictly In-Office)

Job Type: Full-Time, 

Permanent Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM PST 

About the Opportunity:We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk / Accounting Assistant to join our on-site team in La Jolla.

What You'll Do: 

AP Processing (70%): Meticulously review, code, verify, and input high-volume vendor invoices into QuickBooks Online daily. 

Payment Batches (10%): Run approved check batches, ACH files, and electronic payments. 

Ledger Balancing: Reconcile monthly bank accounts and corporate credit cards, instantly isolating and researching variances. 

Desk Documentation: Keep precise, step-by-step process logs for your account desk to support seamless business continuity.

Qualifications & Skills 

3 years of accounts payable, bookkeeping, or accounting support experience

Experience with bank and/or credit card reconciliations

Basic understanding of accounting principles and general ledger coding 

Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Excel 

Required Skills: 

Data entry accuracy, account reconciliation, time management, communication, and strict confidentiality.

Preferred: QuickBooks experience, small business background, or an Associate degree/coursework in Accounting.
