Slitter Operator/Fork Lift Driver

We are seeking a dependable, skilled Slitter operator who can drive a forklift to join our manufacturing team. This position is ideal for someone who can work independently and takes pride in quality work. Retired but still looking to work? Attending a trade school? This could be the perfect fit. Willing to consider the right candidate for less than 40 hours.

Job Description

* Perform basic mathematical calculations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division for slitting machinery set up

* Operate slitting manufacturing equipment accurately and safely. Wrap pallets.

* Evaluate your own work to be sure it is meeting the specifications for each order as well as quality work

* Work with management to meet production goals

* Safely operate a forklift to move raw materials, finished products and to load and unload trucks.

Qualifications

* Previous experience operating slitting equipment is a huge plus!

* Fork Lift Certification or Experience

* Ability to follow direction, and use measuring tape to accurately measure to fractions of an inch

* Ability to lift up to 60 lb. and stand for extended periods of time

* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

* Must be dependable and have a strong work ethic

* Reliable Transportation Required
