Pay: Starting at $19.12 per hour, plus an additional shift differential for 2nd Shift
Location: Elkhart, IN

Available Shifts

• 
  1st Shift: 4:00 AM - 2:30 PM
  
• 
  2nd Shift: 2:10 PM - 12:40 AM
  
• 
  Regular Schedule: Monday-Thursday
  
• 
  Overtime: Friday overtime may be required based on production needs.
  

We are hiring dependable, detail-oriented Manufacturing Operators / Production Operators for our Rim Line in Elkhart, Indiana. This hands-on role is ideal for individuals who are eager to learn, enjoy working as part of a team, and take pride in producing quality work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

As a Pack/Grind Operator, you will inspect, handle, stack, and prepare wheel rims for the next stage of the manufacturing process.

What You'll Do

• 
  Perform visual inspections of rims and wheels coming off the production line.
  
• 
  Verify that valve stem holes are present and correctly located.
  
• 
  Ensure DOT stamps are present and legible.
  
• 
  Inspect rim trim to confirm it is at the proper depth and is not raised.
  
• 
  Remove rims from chutes and place them onto skids, racks, or crates.
  
• 
  Stack rims in the required weave pattern and quantity.
  
• 
  Clear wheels from various production lines as needed.
  
• 
  Set up the appropriate size skid with plywood or ensure racks are in place.
  
• 
  Tag skids and verify that production paperwork is complete and accurate.
  
• 
  Attach required paperwork to each rack or skid for production recordkeeping.
  
• 
  Wrap completed skids with shrink wrap for Material Handler pickup.
  
• 
  Review and follow all safety procedures and work instructions.
  
• 
  Perform other duties as assigned within the Rim Line or throughout the facility.
  

Qualifications

• 
  1 year of general labor or manufacturing experience preferred.
  
• 
  Strong attention to detail and ability to identify quality issues.
  
• 
  Ability to follow work instructions and safety procedures.
  
• 
  Motivated team player with a positive attitude.
  
• 
  Self-starter with a willingness to learn new skills.
  
• 
  Consistently productive, efficient, and dependable.
  
• 
  Ability to maintain reliable attendance for early-morning or late-night shifts.
  

Physical Requirements

• 
  Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  
• 
  Ability to perform repetitive motions throughout the shift.
  
• 
  Ability to lift overhead and stack materials at low levels.
  
• 
  Frequent standing, walking, bending, twisting, stooping, and reaching.
  

Work Environment
Work is performed in a manufacturing setting. Employees may be exposed to both heat and cold depending on the department and outdoor temperatures.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required, including:
