2nd Shift Machine Operator

A company that embraces innovation is currently seeking a Machine Operator for a full-time temporary to permanent position in Middleboro, MA.

Responsibilities of Machine Operator:

-Set-up and Operated manufacturing machines

-Monitor machines making adjustments and stopping/starting the machines as needed

-Maintain fluid and lubricant levels and change basic fixtures

-Complete RFSmart transactions

-Perform and submit in-process inspections

-Utilize measuring tools including OD Micrometer, Vernier and Drop Gage during quality checks ensuring specifications are consistently met

-Remove scrap metal from machines

-Report any equipment or tooling failures

-Maintain daily logs, documentation, and inspection reports

-Follow all work instructions and work orders

-Perform other related tasks as assigned

Requirements of Machine Operator:

-Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent

-3+ years Machine operation experience

-Previous experience in manufacturing environment

-Past experience using measuring tools such as OD Micrometer, Vernier and Drop Gage

-Mechanically Inclined

-able to read and interpret blueprints

-Knowledgeable of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing

-Use of Gauge block and laser ZYGO experience preferred

-Basic Math skills

-Able to lift and carry 40lbs regularly

-Superior attention to detail

-able to train on the first shift 1-2 months

Hours: 3:00pm-1:30am Monday-Thursday

Training hours: 4:30am-3:00pm Monday-Thursday

Pay Rate: up to 22.00/hr
