Combi Lift operator

Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Combi Lift Operator. In this role, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment such as combi lifts to efficiently load, unload, and transport cargo within the warehouse and distribution center. Responsibilities

• Operate combi lifts, forklifts, Hi-Lo trucks, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment to load and unload shipments safely and efficiently.
• Manage materials handling tasks including order picking, manual handling, and precise placement of goods within the warehouse.
• Conduct routine inspections and basic maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
• Assist with shipping and receiving processes by verifying inventory accuracy using warehouse management systems (WMS) and ensuring proper documentation.
• Follow safety standards in production environments aligned with OSHA regulations, ensuring a safe workspace for all team members.
• Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to coordinate daily operations, prioritize tasks, and maintain high levels of accuracy in order picking.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as combi lifts, straddle carriers, forklifts, or similar machinery in a warehouse or distribution setting.
• Mechanical knowledge related to equipment repair and troubleshooting is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with safety standards including OSHA regulations and manual handling best practices.
• Warehouse experience involving heavy lifting, materials handling, and manual labor is essential.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
