Tooling Designer

Requirements:

• One plus years in designing, tooling, gages, fixtures etc.
• Working knowledge of mechanical elements such as structural steel, tool steel, heat treating, fasteners, bearings, mechanisms, springs pneumatics and hydraulics.

Duties:

• Use tooling concepts for production of components from customer drawings and related inputs from the quote process.
• Designs tooling, gages, fixtures, and other items specified during the APQP process. Design outputs include math models, detail drawings, engineering data, wear allowances, assemblies, bill of materials, setup sheets and other information needed by toolmakers, engineers, and production teams.
