Looking for a contract opportunity as a Registered Behavior Technician? A welcoming district near Great Barrington, MA, is seeking a dedicated RBT to provide vital support in an elementary substantially separate classroom. The primary focus will be working one-on-one with a student with Autism, with guidance and supervision from an experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) on site. This full-time position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact in a supportive educational setting.
Qualifications:
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
- Experience with children on the Autism Spectrum, especially in educational settings
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and classroom staff
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Compassionate approach and adaptability to student needs
Responsibilities:
- Implement behavior intervention plans as outlined by the supervising BCBA
- Provide direct behavioral and academic support in the classroom, prioritizing the assigned student
- Track progress, collect data, and assist with ongoing assessments
- Work closely with classroom staff to promote positive behaviors and learning outcomes
- Participate in relevant meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities
