Allied Personnel Services is seeking candidates for a Transformer Assembler opening! This long term opportunity is available on 2nd shift. Pay is $20.00/hr.
Responsibilities:
- wrap insulation around coil and secure w/ tape
- drive wedges between coil and core using a mallet
- assemble support structure, clamping angles, terminals, tanks, or cabinet panels
- fabricate coils and assemble component parts to build transformers according to blueprints
- clean and ink stamp part numbers/date code
Candidates for this role must have a high school diploma/GED and at least three months' experience in assembly. The ability to read and comprehend instructions and perform basic math is needed.
