You’ll be engaged as a Speech Language Pathologist, serving district-wide and managing a varied caseload. With up to 16 hours each week, this part-time schedule allows for impactful work while maintaining balance. Your expertise will help students develop and strengthen vital communication skills, contributing to their academic and social success.

Key Qualifications:

  • Possession of a current South Dakota SLP license
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • Proven experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
  • Ability to adapt communication and therapy methods for diverse learners
  • Collaborative approach to working with educators, families, and students
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver onsite speech and language therapy across the district in accordance with students’ IEPs
  • Conduct assessments, write reports, and develop individual treatment plans
  • Track student progress and maintain accurate records
  • Work closely with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure integrated support
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to professional development initiatives
