Job Description

Key Qualifications:
- Certified Special Education Teacher with current credentials.
- Experience or strong interest in working with K-12+ populations.
- Knowledge of IEP development, progress monitoring, and individualized instruction.
- Comfortable adapting curriculum for varied cognitive and behavioral needs.
- Collaborative approach to working with instructional teams, paraprofessionals, and families.
- Excellent communication, patience, and problem-solving skills.
Position Details:
- Serve approximately 15 students with varying exceptionalities.
- Work with grades K-12+ in a supportive, small school setting.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans.
- Use diverse instructional strategies and classroom management techniques suited to disability categories.
- Collaborate with general educators and support staff to ensure student accommodations are provided.
- Engage in regular data collection and progress reporting.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and respectful classroom climate.
- Contract position beginning August 18th, 2026, and ending May 20th, 2027.
- Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 7:45 AM to 4:00 PM.
