Job Description
A dynamic opportunity awaits for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) seeking to make a meaningful impact in an educational setting during the 2026/2027 school year. This full-time, onsite contract position provides a chance to support multiple campuses across a school district eager to implement and expand BCBA services for the very first time. Working closely with both general and special education students, you’ll play a key role in shaping the district’s approach to behavioral supports.
Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid BCBA certification
- Previous experience in a school environment preferred, but not required
- Strong emphasis on data-driven approaches to behavior analysis and intervention
- Skilled at collaborating effectively with teachers, school psychologists, and educational staff
- Organized with a commitment to maintaining thorough documentation
- Capable of providing a redacted FBA sample and strong professional references upon request
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative BCBA services across three school sites
- Perform classroom and individual student observations, including within emotional support settings
- Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and create behavior intervention plans
- Participate in IEP meetings as a behavioral expert
- Collaborate with district staff on student programming and positive behavior supports
- Provide training, coaching, and guidance to educators and support staff
This position is strictly onsite, working 37-40 hours per week, and starts August 17, 2026, through June 10, 2027. You’ll have an opportunity to set the foundation for a new discipline in a welcoming district, guide classroom teams, and help shape a supportive environment for students.
