Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field (Master’s preferred)
• Valid Special Education teaching credential or license
• Previous experience working with students in special education settings
• Familiarity with IEP process, documentation, and data-driven instruction
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to adapt teaching methods and materials to meet students’ varying needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement tailored lesson plans to accommodate students’ learning abilities and goals
• Conduct assessments, monitor progress, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and families to ensure student success
• Create a supportive, positive, and inclusive classroom environment
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and district regulations regarding special education
• Provide direct instruction and behavioral support as needed
