Job Description

Step into an impactful role supporting elementary students as a Registered Behavior Technician. This contract opportunity provides full-time hours assisting in a substantially separate classroom environment, where your expertise will make a profound difference in students' daily experiences. The primary focus will be working one-on-one with an elementary-aged child on the autism spectrum, offering dedicated behavioral support and individualized attention. You'll collaborate closely with the district's Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), ensuring that your work is closely supervised and guided by experienced professionals.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) certification required
  • Experience supporting children with autism, particularly in a school setting
  • Comfortable with elementary caseloads and prioritizing the needs of an individual student within a group environment
  • Ability to implement behavior intervention plans and collect data under BCBA supervision
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with team members and engaging with students positively

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct behavioral support to students, especially the designated priority student
  • Follow detailed guidance and feedback from the supervising BCBA
  • Foster a supportive, positive classroom atmosphere that encourages growth and learning
  • Assist with data collection and reporting on progress and interventions
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers and staff to maintain consistency in strategies and support

Experience in a similar setting—especially with elementary-aged children—will help you excel in this rewarding position. This is a chance to be part of a multidisciplinary team dedicated to fostering positive outcomes for every learner.

If you are a dedicated RBT passionate about making a difference, apply today to bring your specialized skills to a vibrant school community.

Compensation for this position ranges from $25.36 to $41.84. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
