Bring your expertise in speech-language pathology to a dynamic educational setting, where you’ll make a lasting impact on students from birth through 12th grade. This contract position offers a full-time schedule of approximately 37.5 hours per week (8 hours per day), delivering essential speech and language services throughout the county.

Your background and skills will be key in supporting children and young adults at all developmental stages, helping them reach their communication milestones and unlock their full academic potential.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • Current license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in California
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Experience or genuine interest in pediatric and school-based settings
  • Knowledge of assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring for diverse populations
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities to partner with educators and families

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct therapy for students ranging from infants to high school seniors
  • Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments in accordance with school requirements
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and support staff for integrated student support
  • Participate in IEP meetings, providing input and documentation
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation per school district and state guidelines
