Diversified Sourcing Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist for a growing company in Waco, TX. This is a great opportunity for someone with at least 1 year of accounts payable or accounting experience who is eager to grow their career. We are looking for someone who is organized, dependable, and has strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Receive, review, and accurately enter vendor invoices into the accounting system.
- Process vendor payments in a timely and accurate manner.
- Reconcile accounts payable records and resolve invoice discrepancies.
- Maintain organized financial records and supporting documentation.
- Respond to vendor inquiries regarding invoices and payments.
- Assist with financial reporting and other accounting functions as needed.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of Accounts Payable, Accounting, or related office experience (more experience is a plus).
- Experience with QuickBooks Desktop preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Education
- High School Diploma or GED required.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
- Ability to use a computer and other office equipment throughout the day.
- Ability to lift and move typical office supplies.
- Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and vendors.
- Ability to occasionally walk through the production facility when needed.
Work Environment
- Primarily an office environment.
- Occasional exposure to a manufacturing/production setting.
- Minimal exposure to workplace hazards.
