Pediatric School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Forest, Mississippi

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution
• Active Mississippi State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist
• Current or eligible for ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or CFY status
• Previous pediatric or school-based SLP experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills, adaptability, and a passion for helping children succeed
• Willingness to work full-time on-site and open to travel assignments

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments, evaluations, and develop individualized treatment plans for students
• Provide direct therapy services, documenting measurable progress
• Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to support student achievement
• Attend meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) development
• Maintain clinical records in compliance with state and school guidelines
• Engage in ongoing professional development and training as needed
