This position offers the flexibility of full-time or part-time hours while supporting elementary students in a collaborative classroom environment.

Job Details

Job Location: Fryeburg, ME
Start Date: August 31, 2026 (Orientation and safety training available August 24–28)
Full-Time (33.75 hours/week) or Part-Time (~20 hours/week)
Competitive Compensation
Caseload: K–4th Grade
Average classroom size of 19 students
Supported by 2 Educational Technicians (additional support available for a part-time teacher if needed)
Students primarily identified with Specific Learning Disabilities (SLD) and Other Health Impairments (OHI)
No Emotional Disorders caseload

Requirements

2+ years of school-based Special Education experience
Active Maine Special Education teaching certification
Bachelor's degree or higher in Special Education or related field
