Instructional Assistant - Lebanon, NH

Step into a vital support role working alongside educators and students in a high school setting for the 2026-2027 academic year. This full-time contract opportunity runs from August 2026 through June 2027, offering you the chance to make a genuine impact within a welcoming school community. You'll work weekdays (Monday to Friday) for 32-37.5 hours each week, providing direct assistance to students and teachers in a high school caseload.

Key Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional or in a similar classroom support role
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
• Ability to work effectively with students of varying abilities and needs
• Reliability and a positive attitude
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional educational credentials or certifications a plus

Primary Responsibilities:

• Support students' academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs under teacher guidance
• Assist with daily classroom activities, organization, and instructional support
• Foster an inclusive, respectful environment for students with diverse backgrounds
• Contribute to progress monitoring, record keeping, and communication with the educational team
• Provide support to students individually and in small groups as directed
