Job Summary\n

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Physical Therapist to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities\n

\n
• Deliver physical therapy services primarily in skilled nursing facilities, with potential float to inpatient acute care hospitals.
\n
• Treat patients with common diagnoses such as joint replacements, stroke, deconditioning, and pneumonia.
\n
• Work independently and perform patient transfers effectively.
\n
• Ensure excellent communication and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
\n
• Utilize the Cerner EMR system for patient charting and documentation.
\n
• Meet patient care expectations, treating 8-9 patients per day with orthopaedic and neurological conditions.
\n

Qualifications\n

\n
• Valid California Physical Therapist license.
\n
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
\n
• Able to work effectively with geriatric patients with chronic conditions.
\n
• Strong ability to work independently and handle patient transfers.
\n
• Experience in communicating and collaborating within an interdisciplinary team.
\n
• Minimum of 2 supervisory references from the same modality, including recent experience within the last year.
\n
