Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an outpatient Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of experience and Epic EMR proficiency for a 13-week travel contract.

Details\n

• Outpatient physical therapy setting
\n
• Daily patient load of 10–12 patients
\n
• Schedule: Monday–Thursday 7:30 AM–5:30 PM and Friday 8:00 AM–12:00 PM, totaling 40 hours/week
\n
• Epic EMR is used; minimum 1 year of Epic experience required
\n
• Floating to other units and/or campuses within the health system may be required based on census needs; staff will only float to units for which they are qualified and have documented competencies
\n

Requirements\n

\n
• Minimum 1 year of recent outpatient PT experience required
\n
• Active state PT license from the Board of PT Examiners or PT Compact Commission required; license required if applicable
\n
• BLS certification required
\n
• Dry Needling and Manual Therapy certifications required
\n
• Hand Therapy and Wound Care certifications preferred
\n
• Minimum 1 year of Epic EMR experience required
\n
• Rehabilitation hospital experience preferred
\n
• Lifting and transfer skills required
\n
• Two professional references required for consideration
\n
• Copy of driver's license required for consideration
\n

• Orientation takes place every Monday
\n
• Pre-assignment modules must be completed prior to the start date; up to 16 hours of module time is reimbursable

• Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the relevant Prisma Health flagship hospital (Prisma Richland or Prisma Greenville) to be eligible for this position; candidates under 50 miles are ineligible
