Job Description
Senior Wholesale Operations Analyst
\nLocation: Ogden, UT (on-site)
\nAbout the Role
\nHydroJug is looking for a Senior Wholesale Operations Analyst to own the commercial standard across our wholesale supply chain — from inbound freight coordination at port through outbound order flow and retailer compliance.
\nThis is a standards and visibility role, not a pure execution role. You will set the OTIF standard, own the reporting, and partner closely with warehouse leadership to ensure the operation performs against it. The warehouse executes; you own the commercial lens and hold the operation accountable to retailer commitments.
\nYou will be the single source of truth for order health, OTIF performance, inbound status, and chargeback trends across our retail accounts. This role is designed to grow — the right person will have the foundation to take on expanded scope and, over time, team leadership.
\nYou'll be on-site in our Ogden, UT warehouse, embedded alongside supply chain and wholesale operations leadership.
\nKey Responsibilities
\nInbound Coordination (Port to Warehouse)
\n- \n
- Coordinate with drayage and final-mile carriers to schedule delivery appointments from port to the Ogden warehouse \n
- Monitor container availability and port status; communicate inbound ETAs to warehouse leadership and supply chain \n
- Determine prioritization — what inventory needs to be pulled immediately vs. what can remain at port — based on demand signals and warehouse capacity \n
- Verify received inventory against POs; flag and track discrepancies through to resolution \n
Outbound Order Flow & OTIF
\n- \n
- Own retailer-specific OTIF standards, performance reporting, and accountability for results across all wholesale accounts \n
- Own the Exit Warehouse Date (XWD) — the committed ship milestone for every order \n
- Monitor the order pipeline across all stages and surface gaps to warehouse leadership with the commercial context needed to prioritize correctly \n
- Track carrier cutoffs and flag at-risk orders before they miss; serve as the single source of truth for real-time order status \n
Chargeback Prevention & Resolution
\n- \n
- Monitor and track retail chargebacks across all wholesale accounts by retailer and root cause \n
- Identify upstream patterns (routing guide failures, labeling errors, ASN timing) and work with warehouse and compliance teams to fix at the source \n
- Escalate disputes with full documentation; track open items through to closure \n
- Maintain chargeback reporting that surfaces trends, win rates, and financial exposure by account \n
Warehouse Leadership Partnership
\n- \n
- Provide the commercial lens — customer commitments, retailer standards, OTIF targets — so warehouse leadership can execute against the right priorities \n
- Participate in regular operational syncs with warehouse leadership; bring visibility and context, not directives \n
- Serve as the operational liaison between Wholesale Operations and the warehouse floor \n
Reporting & Process Ownership
\n- \n
- Build and own reporting on OTIF performance, chargeback exposure, inbound lead times, and order pipeline health \n
- Identify recurring gaps and bring data-backed recommendations to the table \n
- Document SOPs and processes that can be handed off as the team scales \n
Key Performance Indicators
\nPerformance in this role is measured against the following KPIs, all of which roll up to team OTIF (On-Time In-Full):
\n- \n
- On-Time Rate — Orders shipped on or before the committed Exit Warehouse Date \n
- Ship vs. Plan — Actual units and orders shipped vs. the daily execution plan \n
- Rollover Rate — Orders that miss their planned ship day \n
- Chargeback Rate — Total chargebacks as a % of wholesale revenue, by retailer and root cause \n
- Order Aging Rate — Orders stalled beyond standard processing windows \n
- Inbound KPI — Final-mile delivery appointment adherence and PO receiving accuracy \n
Required Qualifications
\n- \n
- 4+ years of experience in wholesale operations, supply chain, logistics, or retail compliance — with demonstrated ownership of OTIF, chargebacks, or inbound freight coordination \n
- Experience managing inbound shipments — working with drayage carriers, freight forwarders, or 3PLs; familiarity with port-to-warehouse logistics \n
- Experience working alongside warehouse operations teams; understands the operator's perspective and can influence without authority \n
- Strong understanding of retailer routing guides, vendor compliance requirements, and chargeback mechanics \n
- Proven ability to own problems independently and follow through to resolution \n
- Strong communication and cross-functional coordination skills \n
- Analytical mindset; proficiency in Microsoft Excel required \n
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or a related field — OR equivalent experience \n
Preferred Qualifications
\n- \n
- Experience with a warehouse management system (WMS) or order management system (OMS) \n
- Prior experience managing wholesale accounts at major retailers (Target, Walmart, REI, Dick's Sporting Goods, etc.) \n
- Familiarity with EDI, ASN processes, and retailer portals (Retail Link, Partners Online, etc.) \n
- Experience building operational reporting, dashboards, or KPI tracking tools \n
- Consumer goods, CPG, or drinkware/outdoor/sporting goods industry background \n
- Interest in or prior experience with team leadership or mentorship \n
Success in the First 12 Months
\nIn your first 90 days, you'll own the inbound appointment schedule, establish a daily order pipeline rhythm, and build a chargeback baseline by account. By month six, you'll have a clear picture of where HydroJug's biggest OTIF and compliance risks sit and a roadmap to address them. By year one, you'll be proactively managing the commercial standard across the full wholesale operation, your reporting will be the go-to source of truth for leadership, and you'll be shaping what the wholesale ops function looks like as we scale.
\nGrowth Path
\nThis role is designed to grow with HydroJug. As the wholesale channel scales, the scope and seniority of this position will expand with it. We are looking for someone with the foundation to take on more over time — not just someone to execute the job as it exists today.
\nLocation & Reporting
\nThis is a full-time, on-site role based at HydroJug's warehouse in Ogden, UT. The Senior Wholesale Operations Analyst reports to Wholesale Operations leadership. Standard hours align to warehouse operations, with flexibility expected during high-volume periods and around carrier cutoffs and peak inbound freight windows.
\nHow to Apply
\nApply directly through this LinkedIn posting. No cover letter required — we'd love to see a resume that speaks to your experience with OTIF, chargebacks, inbound freight coordination, and working alongside warehouse operations teams. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
