Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Step Down/Progressive Care Unit position in Port Huron, MI, requiring at least 2 years of step down experience and strong cardiac proficiency.

• Night shift position with hours from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
\n
• 12-hour shifts in a Step Down/Progressive Care Unit
\n
• Every other weekend requirement
\n
• No on-call responsibilities
\n
• Floating to other units is required
\n
• 13-week contract
\n

Requirements\n

\n
• Active Michigan (MI) RN license required
\n
• Current certifications: BLS and ACLS
\n
• Minimum 2 years of Step Down experience required
\n
• Strong cardiac experience and proficiency required
\n

Additional Information\n

\n
• Responsible for delivery of nursing care within the Step Down unit scope of practice, following hospital policies, nursing process guidelines, and standards of care
\n
• Travel experience is preferred but not required
\n
• No more than 5 days of RTO may be requested for the duration of the contract
\n
