Operations Manager

\nCompensation: $100K–$120K base + 9% bonus

\nPosition Overview
\nWe are seeking a hands-on Operations Manager to lead day-to-day production activities on the shop floor. This role is responsible for driving operational performance across safety, quality, delivery, and cost while building and developing a high-performing team.

- A current Production/Operations leader, or \n
- A Manufacturing/Process Engineer ready to step into leadership \n
Key Responsibilities
\n- \n
- Lead daily shop floor operations, including team meetings, production execution, and staffing \n
- Drive Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives (waste reduction, standard work, process optimization) \n
- Ensure production schedules and customer requirements are met efficiently \n
- Coach, develop, and hold team members accountable for performance and safety \n
- Provide feedback, conduct performance reviews, and manage disciplinary actions when needed \n
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, quality, and training teams \n
- Monitor and manage labor efficiency, overtime, and workforce planning \n
- Support a strong culture of safety, quality, and compliance \n
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement sustainable solutions \n
- Engage with customers as needed on product quality, testing, and process-related matters \n
Qualifications
\n- \n
- Bachelor’s degree required (Engineering, Business, or related field) \n
- 4+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment \n
- (or 8+ years of manufacturing leadership experience in lieu of degree) \n
- Proven experience driving Lean / Continuous Improvement initiatives \n
- Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills \n
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on production environment \n
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) \n
Preferred Experience
\n- \n
- Aerospace or automotive manufacturing background \n
- Familiarity with AS9100 or similar quality systems \n
- Experience with thermal processing, coatings, or specialized manufacturing processes \n
- Background in process engineering or manufacturing engineering \n
