Job Summary\nCuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities\n- \n
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to pediatric patients in the CVPICU, ensuring adherence to established protocols and patient-to-nurse ratios of 1:1 or 1:2. \n
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to evaluate and implement individualized care plans for each patient. \n
- Monitor and assess patients, administer treatments, and document progress accurately using EPIC. \n
- Participate in on-call and floating assignments to meet the unit's staffing needs, ensuring the highest quality of care. \n
- Manage critical care equipment, including ventilators and ECMO, with proficiency in hemodynamic monitoring. \n
- Educate patients and their families on procedures, treatment plans, and ongoing care needs post-discharge. \n

- Active RN license in Washington State or eligible for temporary or compact licensure. \n
- Minimum of 2 years of specialized pediatric cardiac surgery experience required, with travel experience preferred. \n
- Current certifications in BLS and PALS are mandatory. \n
- Experience with EPIC charting system is preferred. \n
- Ability to respond effectively in high-pressure situations, managing stress well in a dynamic clinical setting. \n
- Strong communication skills with the capacity to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. \n
