Professional RN Team Lead

Job Description\n

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Professional RN Team Lead to deliver the highest quality health care in partnership with our community, one person at a time. The RN Team Lead is responsible for managing time effectively, exercising critical thinking, delegating tasks, and prioritizing patient care. This role includes direct patient care responsibilities such as assessment, monitoring, recording, and reporting changes in patient conditions. The RN Team Lead collaborates with the interdisciplinary care team and acts as an advocate for patients.

Responsibilities\n

• Provide assessment, monitoring, and reporting of changes in patient conditions.
\n
• Advocate for patients and practice ethically within the nursing scope.
\n
• Promote evidence-based practice (EBP) and best practices related to patient care.
\n
• Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team while ensuring effective communication.
\n
• Document patient information thoroughly and appropriately in the EMR system.
\n
• Participate in unit councils and staff meetings.
\n
• Assist with lifting (up to 50 lbs.), sit or stand for extended periods, and operate required medical equipment.
\n
• Float to other units as staffing permits and drop to LPN Med Cart position when necessary.
\n

Schedule\n

This is a full-time position with a schedule of 07:00 AM to 03:30 PM, with every other weekend and holiday required.

Assignment Duration\n

This is a 13-week contract position.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure\n

\n
• Current RN license required.
\n
• Experience in nursing leadership and patient care management preferred.
\n
• Ability to meet physical demands of the job, including operating medical equipment.
\n
• Completion of documentation and required competency tests as assigned.
\n
