Job Summary\n

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - MedSurg/Tele to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities\n

\n
• Provide comprehensive care to patients with a variety of diagnoses including COPD, UTI, and cellulitis.
\n
• Maintain a nurse-to-patient ratio of 5:1 during the day and 6:1 overnight.
\n
• Collaborate with team nursing, including Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), for optimal patient care.
\n
• Execute IV starts and monitor basic tele arrhythmia at the nurses' desk.
\n
• Manage weekend and holiday rotations as required.
\n
• Ensure preparedness for floating to like units and patients as needed.
\n

Qualifications\n

\n
• Current RN license and BLS certification; ACLS preferred.
\n
• Minimum 1 year of Acute Care experience, particularly in MedSurg/Tele.
\n
• Familiarity with procedures like TURPS-CBI and basic tele arrhythmias.
\n
• Experience in Critical Access or Trauma Level 3 or 4 settings preferred.
\n
• Ability to adapt to a computerized charting system and comply with facility guidelines.
\n
• Willingness to work 12-hour night shifts including every other weekend.
\n
