We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our growing rehabilitation team. In this role, you will evaluate, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans that help patients improve their ability to perform daily living and work-related activities. You will work collaboratively with physicians, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations based on physician referrals.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to patient goals and clinical findings.
  • Provide therapeutic interventions to improve strength, coordination, fine motor skills, cognitive function, and activities of daily living (ADLs).
  • Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and adaptive techniques.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
    Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure coordinated patient care.
  • Adhere to HIPAA regulations, company policies, and professional standards of practice.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in the State of New York.
  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
  • Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

    Preferred:
  • Prior outpatient or rehabilitation clinic experience.
  • Experience treating orthopedic, neurological, or post-surgical patients.
