Treatment Nurse (RN or LPN)

Are you a nurse who takes pride in precision, consistency, and resident care excellence? Wabasso Rehabilitation & Wellness Center is seeking a Treatment Nurse to focus on wound care, skin integrity, and other treatment-related tasks that support our residents’ healing and well-being.

Position Summary

The Treatment Nurse is responsible for performing wound and skin treatments, maintaining accurate documentation, and supporting the nursing team in providing high-quality care. This position is ideal for an LPN or RN who enjoys focused clinical work and values teamwork and resident-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Complete all wound and skin treatments per physician orders and facility protocols

• Monitor and document wound progress, including staging, measurements, and interventions

• Communicate changes in condition to the charge nurse, DON, and provider as appropriate

• Maintain wound logs and ensure timely, accurate documentation in the medical record

• Participate in weekly skin rounds and collaborate with the wound physician and interdisciplinary team

• Assist with other nursing duties as assigned to support overall resident care

Qualifications

• Current Minnesota LPN or RN license in good standing

• Wound care or treatment experience preferred (training available)

• Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
