Coastal Empire Periodontics & Implant Dentistry is seeking an experienced, motivated Dental Assistant to join our growing specialty practice. We are looking for a team player who is passionate about providing exceptional patient care and thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Position Details

• Part-time, 32 hours per week
• Specialty practice focused on periodontics, dental implants, and oral surgery
• Competitive pay based on experience and qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of dental assisting experience
• Periodontal and oral surgery experience preferred (preference will be given to candidates with specialty experience)
• Experience assisting with surgical procedures, including extractions, implants, and periodontal surgery
• Proficient with Dentrix, DEXIS, and Sidexis
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Positive attitude with a strong commitment to patient care
• Ability to work efficiently as part of a collaborative team

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and surgical instruments
• Assist the periodontist during periodontal and oral surgery procedures
• Take and process digital radiographs
• Educate patients on pre- and post-operative instructions
• Maintain accurate clinical records in Dentrix
• Ensure compliance with infection control and sterilization protocols
