We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and professional individual to provide high-quality personal care and support to clients in their homes. In this role, you will help promote comfort, independence, dignity, and safety while assisting with daily living activities and supporting each client’s unique needs.
Responsibilities- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting, as needed.
- Provide support with mobility, transfers, positioning, and safe ambulation.
- Help with meal preparation, feeding assistance, and light housekeeping duties.
- Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversation and activities.
- Monitor and report changes in client condition, behavior, or needs to the appropriate supervisor.
- Support medication reminders and other care-related routines, as permitted by policy and training.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized care environment.
- Follow care plans, agency procedures, and all applicable safety and confidentiality guidelines.
- Previous experience in home care, personal care, or a related support role is preferred.
- Completion of HHA/PCA training or certification, if required by the position or location.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to provide respectful, patient, and compassionate care.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to follow instructions and care plans.
- Ability to perform the physical tasks associated with client care, including lifting, bending, standing, and assisting with mobility, as appropriate.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, or other travel ability may be required depending on assignment.
- Commitment to maintaining client dignity, privacy, and independence.
- Ability to adapt to changing client needs and routines.
- Positive attitude and a team-oriented approach.
- Experience supporting older adults, individuals with disabilities, or clients recovering from illness or injury.
