Legal Technology & Automation Specialist

Faber & Brand is a multi-state creditors’ rights law firm based in Columbia, Missouri. We are looking for a smart, curious, problem-solving person to help us improve the systems that move thousands of legal files through our office.

This is not a typical help desk job. You will help build and maintain automation, reports, document templates, workflows, and database-driven processes that make the firm faster, cleaner, and more efficient.

We currently work in QLAW, a SQL-based case management system, and are moving into newer tools including Clerkie/Fiber, Microsoft 365, and other automation platforms. Experience with those specific systems is helpful, but not required. We are more interested in someone who can think logically, learn quickly, and enjoys figuring out how systems work.

A good fit would be someone who likes:

Solving “if this, then that” problems
Building complicated Word document templates
Working with databases, reports, and structured information
Automating repetitive work
Learning new software
Helping non-technical people use technology better
Improving processes instead of just maintaining them

Starting pay is $20 per hour for inexperienced candidates, (with higher pay considered based on experience) and a full benefits package.
