Job Description

School Nurse (Non-Instructional)
Full-Time.
Immediate Opening.

Qualifications:

Valid NJ School Nurse Certificate or eligibility.
Valid Nursing License.
Valid AED/CPR Certification.
Required Criminal history background Check and proof of U.S. Citizenship.

Responsibilities:

To promote health and safety in a school special education environment and provide health services to students, faculty and staff; to assist with the teaching of sound health practices.
Conducts health services and screening programs as required by law.
Provides daily medications and or emergency care in case of sudden illness and administers first-aid in case of injury to students or staff.
Maintains up-to-date health records on all students for all individual and state reporting.
