Warehouse Clerk

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Clerk to join our logistics and distribution team.

Duties

• Communicate with customers by providing updates on order status and addressing inquiries.
• Monitor and verify orders to ensure accuracy and timely fulfillment.
• Track shipments and follow up on delivery status.
• Contact shipping carriers to resolve delayed or late deliveries.
• Assist the Warehouse Supervisor with daily operations and administrative tasks.
• Support warehouse operations as needed, including shipping, receiving, picking, packing, and other general warehouse duties.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure efficient workflow
• Collaborate with procurement teams on sourcing materials and managing stock levels efficiently.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing warehouse productivity and safety standards.

Skills

• Knowledge of supply chain management, inventory control, and warehouse distribution processes.
• Familiarity with transportation management systems, freight coordination, and shipping logistics.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for data analysis, reporting, and documentation.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory management tasks.
• Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and external vendors.
• Ability to adapt quickly to process changes and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
